A little disappointed by the long period of silence on Hades II

Hades is probably my favorite video game of all time. The characters, the gameplay, the art style, the music...OMG, THE MUSIC...Darren, you are an inspiration and a God amongst men. Well, everything was just perfect in my opinion. Plus, I love Greek mythology.

When Hades II was announced, I, of course, was super excited. I half expected Supergiant Games to pull another stunt like they did with OG Hades and the game would go into early access (kind of) immediately. That was more than half a year ago. And there have been no news since. No additional trailers, gameplay snippets, no updates...nothing.

Now, I know making a video game takes time. Making really good video games takes even more time. But I feel like 6+ months (I'm guessing will end up at a full year) between announcement and release (into early access, that is) is just too long. Or, at least, going radio silent for 6+ months is too long.

u clearly dont know how these stuff works major titles can announce a game 6 years before they are even released look at hogwarts legacy as an example first time we heard off that game was back in 2018 and only got it this year games usally get announced when they are maybe a few months into development maybe even a year or so into development does that mean announcing is like saying were almost gonna release it? no its quite the oppisit it just saying hey were making this game many off u all wanted its unlikely we are to see hades 2 untill later eaither this year or next year

Let them cook. This is the first time Supergiant decided to make a sequel instead of a completely new game, and seeing Hades's success, it'd be fair to assume the expectations are as high as they can get.

And you are here in the Steam forums to solely discuss the equal distribution of clean water to everyone in the world? Or do you also discuss some meaningless stuff about computer games?

I too would love to hear an update. Though, the first game they might have needed more funds so they went into Early access. Since they now have funds up front, they might just release the game in full as it is. Which will take a while
