That's the previous DLC as well. And at least two lords for the one before that.
Actually, almost everything since Champions of Chaos is like that.

You could maybe argue Ostankya has a somewhat challenging start, and I can almost see why people consider Kholek a difficult opponent for Tamurkhan (he isn't), but besides those, it's been the easiest baby ♥♥♥♥ ever.

Gorbad has an awesome and very challenging campaign, but Skulltaker is broken and is not worth playing atm.

might be wrong on this, but the good dlcs always release OP then get balanced over several patches in like 2 months max, if a dlc releases weak factions it usually take a loooong time for them to be good after several major updates

Not really, no. You can take Karak Eight Peaks turn 2 if you want, and can crush pretty much anything with Squigs (unit you can recruit from any tier 1 settlement). Unless you intentionally limit yourself when using his mechanics (in which case you can just do the same for every campaign and call them all "challenging"), his campaign is the easiest ♥♥♥♥.

You can hardly even call Squig stacking cheese, it's clearly the intended design with Herd Mentality.

elspeth and the dwarf dlc mechanics are still crazy easy to exploit early, they totally changed the dynamics of the entire dwarf race they are never going to go back and change such

for example, high elves were extremely strong in warhammer 2, they get slightly adjusted from time to time but they are still a powerhouse, look at norscans and specifically skarsnik, so many updates for them to be good, but it feels like they are one nerf away from being completely unfun sometimes

im not talking about nerfing strengths and stats,im talking about the actual new mechanics brought in by these dlcs that are now part of the game forever, like g maneaters contract system, teleport then option to make peace after you have amassed a ton of meat and gold, turn 20,60000 gold,3000 meat, elite stack with maneater and two teir4 camps, now that should be around turn 50 before you get to that level on legd

I agree, i'm not a big fan of these overpowered mechanics.

talking about teleporting specifically, then yeah it feels like there is alot of that with recently added factions, it is a lazy way to make a faction fun

wouldn't say its in the game forever, but yeah i did try golg and he seems to have busted mechanics, they just need to add more risk before the reward when it comes to those mechanics, same for skulltaker, just add a way for those demon armies to be a risk, and it might add a bit of a challenge, at least for the short term

The new Khorne LL are absurdly OP and can destroy the world with endless Blood Hosts in no time
Even Legend acknowledges it's comical https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTKBbBzsQCQ&t=4s
Gölgfàg is also OP af, you'll drown in gold and meat by turn 20, but it's less ridiculously OP
Then Gorbad is okay, not even very strong, except with Squigs lol (but they won't carry the game)

Who cares if its that OP . Is it fun ? This is a single player game , and in hotseat/mp campaigns hes getting banned.
You also have to play this faction in a certain way , this is not the only way to play it. You could play Eltharion in 2 and abuse his mechanic or you could like play the game normally skipping the abuse/cheese.
This doesnt look fun to me at all , moving 700 no names armies that i have 0 attachment to.

I thought it was pretty hilarious when I was given Belegar as one of my targets for Arbaal, and I noticed Belegar only had 3 units in his army and was in march stance. So I teleported over and ganked him for the "Perfect Challenge." It felt more like I was playing Clan Eshin than Khorne.
