Funnest factions to play?

Just got W3 and wondering what are your 3 funnest factions? Trying to decide which ones to use.

Orcs or Skavens, just for the hilarious comments from lords and heroes. Then Ogres, for their gluttony.

If you only own WH3 I would say Cathay is a good start. Well-rounded units. If you wanna crush everything with powerful infantry and monsters, Khorne is your go-to.

Skaven requires WH2 or one of its DLCs.

Orks, Chaos Dwarves, High Elves, and Lizardmen. Beastmen for pure momentum.

I really love wood elves. Since you don't need most of territories as wood elf, I like to sell what I conquer to factions I like, making alliance everywhere and just jump around the world like some sort of police to keep order factions afloat. But it's probably not the easiest faction for begginer.

Warriors of chaos. I particulary like mono god ones. Probably one of most overpowered factions in game.

Skaven. Ikit Claw, Snikch and Throat the unlean all have very fun faction mechanics.

And this is true.

You should play whatever faction looks cooler to you. Its gonna be different for everyone. For example i happen to find dwarfs very boring while many people love them and play nothing else.

Skaven.
There entire race is a lethal joke.

Gonna get roasted for saying it, but imo Nurgle is by far the most fun faction. Along with Skaven and Greenskin its theme is purposefully comical and joyful, and it's a blast.

Having that said if you're looking for most fun gameplay the full fledged Skaven roster is probably the most varied and ridiculous one, with monsters, siege engines, guns etc etc.

Been having fun at the start of Skaven campaign, will try chaos or elves next since those 2 are the most recommended so far.

I see a lot of peoples answering skavens; just know that while they are indeed fun to play when you know what you're doing, they're quite non standard so it may turn very punishing for a new player to play as them first. If you manage, then cool, but if you don't, you may want to look into more conventional factions first!
