So, since CA has said dat all future dlcs are gonna has X amount of content, what if deh give us extra named characters to make up fir the lack of additional generic ones?
Jus imagine, we get Skulltaker in the slot dat normally goes to a Legendary Lord, den we get Mardaag in place of a generic lord, den we get Karanak in the normal LH slot, and we get Scylla as an extra legendary hero to make up fir the lack of an additional generic hero.
Den, finally, we get Arbaal as a flc lord.
Oh oh, and if CA decides to really lean into the blood theme, the other factions could be Norsca and Vampire Counts, wif Egil Styrbjorn as the Norscan LL, and either Aborash or Walach Harkon as the Vampire LL!
Khorne has enough characters, it is Tzeentch and Slaanesh that would run out of characters, sooner.
As for generic Lord options, we could always have a Skullreaper Lord (Skarr DLC), Beastfiend Lord (Ograx DLC), or even some kind of War Priest, which Khorne does have in the Lore.
There is enough yet to explore from Khorne, if you really want to.
For example:
-Skullreaper Lords and Heroes are less armoured and resilient to magic, but attack very quickly, do a lot of damage, and have a lot of HP.
-Beastfiend Herdmasters are Hybrid ranged and melee Lords, that get Stalk and quite a lot of speed.
-War Priests of Khorne are Heroes that get aura buffs and nerfs, like Sigmarite Warrior Priests or Patriarchs of Kislev.
It would not be hard to conceptualize.
What Khorne actually lacks, is unit options left to add.
Dat bein’ said, I was lookin’ at the WoC 8th edition army book, and was shocked to see dat Slaughterpriests were actually a fing back den.
So, much of what you’re describin’ could be added. Most of it wasn’t in the 8th edition army book, but CA might be able to add it if deh can get teh green-light from GW.
This means that it is possible we will see a lot more stuff for this game, that was not in 8thED.
I'm really hopin' we get teh middenland army list from Storm of Chaos fir the Empire in ToD, cause Middenland has what are basically giant war-pugs, and I NEED dem almost as badly as I need Hotseat mode.
Or wait a while longer, and get the datamined Dogs of War DLC that will inevitably come, to satiate all your goodest boy needs.
