There is no way Khorne counters Slaanesh
Only if there was someone who could not ♥♥♥
The speed difference is actually not that much. Khorne isn't as fast as slaanesh, but they certainly aren't nurgle or dwarf slow.
So that really only leaves the incentive to flank charges as slaanesh. The ai has a tough job doing this, and they will send their fragile but fast units right into khornes melee grinder and promptly die.
Played by the human though, if they are able to micro control slaanesh units with multiple flank attack attacks over and over, they can win ahainsit khorne.
But generally, khorne vs slaanesh, it takes less effort for khorne to win
Slaanesh is heavily dependant on dealing very quick bursts of damage, over and over, but Khorne has a lot more staying power, and can easilt tarpit Slaanesh, after which he will just win, because he also does a lot of damage, but can also take quite a lot of it, while Slaanesh troops cannot really take much of a beating.
That is the trade off Khorne gets for not having magic, he just wins in melee, and Slaanesh is also a melee faction.
As for the Khorne vs Slaanesh match up.
If it's human opponents, it's all about individual skill.
If it's AI opponents, usually armor is important in auto-resolve, so Slaanesh loses.
If it's lore, Slaanesh loses. If I remember Skarbrand even razed Slaanesh's first palace.
That being said, just play whatever suits your playstyle or explore on your own. Nothing is more pitiful then a person who's a slave laborer to the meta, follows guides or lets others dictate how he should play his game.
Khorne is especially good at it, because Khorne is not taht much slower tha Slaanesh, so he can force the engagements, and stop most of the flanking maneuvres Slaanesh needs to do to win.
