Chaos lord or Herald of khorne for... Khorne?
Which lord type do you prefer and why?

I don't bother with armies other than Skarbrand's, to me Skarbrand is a horde army that makes disposable bloodhosts

Mhm, I personally prefer to get a couple, one for backup in case I end up caught somewhere with many enemy armies and one to keep around my recruitment territory for defence, if I lose it I won't be able to replenish top tier units in case I need to.

Depends on the type of army you wanna run on em, they have different type of buffs for mortals and demon units.. For demons Herald for mortals Chaos lord.. imo.. Khorne dont bet on defense.

Ideally I like to use 1 bloodreaper, 6 units of chosen for the frontline, 4 units of exalted bloodletters, 2 Skullcrushers, 2 great weapon Minotaurs, 1 bloodthirster or 2 and the rest I fill either with more skullcrushers or minotaurs depending on what I'm going up against.

The units I prefer are buffed by both lords, but I wanted to see what other people like to play Khorne like. I guess you go fully with the Heralds then?

I Personally i tend to mix a little..
But the Chaos lord buffs are really unimpressive for the exalted bloodletters, sure charge bonus is ok, but armor.. It's kinda a waste.. But on the other hand goes with the Herald you get similar bonuses on the chosen/skullcrushers.. However those take em to a high point where the armor really does a difference unless faced with very high AP dmg.
I do believe this is situation with no one right choice, just a matter of taste.

When I play Warriors of Chaos I go mortal. When I play Deamons/mono-god I go Deamon.
