People were stacking like 500 heroes in Lothern to make like literal millions of gold a turn with armies running around
Having to hire every hero and fire them every turn to cycle through hero traits was annoying to alot of people so CA said f it and removed/nerfed the good ones
I'm not even sure thats that OP. You'd still have to farm the influence, and capture provinces for hero cap. I mean who cares how broken something is on turn 200.
Oh well.
Why rework EVERY other trait, when the issue is with a few select traits? On top of introducing powercreep it makes no sense from a work effficiency standpoint.
Devs nerf things so they can't be exploited anymore "Omg why u nefr this thing that I was exploiting so lame omegalulzorrsis"
There's still broken lord traits for other factions in the game. Like the wood elf Glade Lord that gives the entire army +15% range. You can get Waywatchers up to like 248 range, firing AP missiles in any direction while moving..
"Talon of Kurnous revised from +15% range to +1 charge bonus during siege defences"
Knowledgeable was broken. But it was sorta a 1 off thing. It was a random baseline lord trait that broke WOM. It could even go on heroes.
But high elf traits are supposed to be good since they cost influence.
Some are still good, but some are meh. like all of the mage traits that grant extra spells. They don't recieve any of the WOM reduction or synergy so its terrible for campain. There a decent amount of normal traits i'd rather have over that.
Perfectly fair and balanced as all things should be.
