Epic Games and Steam

Hello everyone!!!

I need your wisdom for a friend.

It's his birthday and we've given him Warhammer Total War III to play with because we know he already has WT I and WT II.

What we didn't know was that he had the first two on Epic Game. We have bought the third one for Steam.

Do you know of a way for Steam to recognize Epic Games games as its own so that it marks the playable races in the first two?

There's no way.
Refund it and gift it on epic and deal with the shortcomings of that - harder mod support.
Or gift the previous ones on sale too (20-30$ total)

not possible. he must own all games on the same platform if he wants to use anything in immortal empires.

It's his birthday, you could also offer him TWWH1/2 on Steam then ? :3

Just let him play IE with the WH3 content for now, and in the next sale you can get the other two games cheaper. Or buy select DLCs if he doesn't want to play the base WH1 or 2 factions.
