Campaign Victory Achievements

So I have been trying to get 100% of the achievements in Total War 3 in my spare time, but the issue is they just added like 20 new ones for each of the factions. Looks like Very Hard or Legendary campaign victory...which is fine I figured Short Victory in Immortal Empires would do it. Well, uh I just achieved Long Victory with Vampire Counts and it's still not triggering the achievement. Do I have to do Total Victory to get it? That's crazy if that's the case.

The achievements were added in preparation for patch 4.0. They are not active yet. You cannot achieve them at this current time.

That said, i think they mentioned domination victory in the blog post talking about them. We shall have to see.

Is this still the case? I have just won a Vampire Counts campaign and the achievie hasn't dropped...

The case that it’s ultimate or domination victory - yes

Yes. You need to do Ultimate or Domination for it to count. Easy way to do it is set only Black Pyramid (if you're close to it as that faction) as the event, set the trigger to start early, and turn crisis difficulty to minimum if you're just trying to grind out achievements. If you're not near the Black Pyramid the Chaos Dwarf crisis is the best option because they open drills that transport you to and from the Dark Lands on every single continent.
