Its a lot of fun but other than that I'd rather just get queek and force Tretch into confederation (they start rather close next to each other)
Queek is probably the most fun for me personally. Capture Karak Eight Peaks and enjoy having 53 upkeep a turn clanrats that have about 60 melee attack... fair and balanced what can I say?
If you ever wanted to roleplay the Vermintide, Queek is your boi.
(Upkeep reductions for clanrat are as followes= 25% from faction | 10% from a skill on Queek's tree factionwide | 5%/10%/15% from a special building in Karak eight Peaks, factionwide | another 18% from the blue line for any lord)
Skrolk can be fun with his plagues and gives his armies frenzy if they are affected by a plague. Though his start is kinda crap because its all forest, you get spammed by saurus (noice 60 armor and you aint got AP until Tier 3... I guess you can count wolfrats on tier 2) and its not that much fun.
Go to the south and meet Oxy who'll make your life hell, go north and you meet Gor-Rok who will make your life hell.
Though if you enjoy a really difficult start and early-game, Skrolk is probably the most fun for you.
His faction effects also do not help him that much, he boosts plaguemonks (the earliest you can get are non-ap... and the AP is tier 5) and plagueclaw catapults which will help against lizards but trees love to eat shots.
Though you can just use a change start position mod if you dont like the start of him (or you can send Tretch back into the Dark Elv area).
In short:
1. Queek, stupidly cheap and strong clanrats are funny
2. Tretch, devastating flanker + +13 melee attack for the entire army on ambush/retreat + wolfrats = stupidly strong
3. Skrolk, faction effects dont help with the start. I hate 60 armor saurus. Nomatter where you go, you get a painful faction to fight (Oxy or Gor-Rok)
