I don't like Kairos' units or 'casters-are-super-clutch' play style, it's extremely heavy on the micro. Plus his econ game is kinda weak, grows slow etc. Takes a long while before you can start really meaningfully changing the ways.
Have played a few of his campaigns in IE with both vanilla and start-swapped starts and yeah it just always comes down to the units really. I tend to get way too bored with him by lategame, (whereas usually I finish all my campaigns.)
Edit: man and I just gotta say I really do love Tzeentch aesthetics. The blue and gold, the dark, sparkling landscapes. Looking forward to Tzeentch's update.
1. Yeah, most peeps are playing IE especially by now.
2. Got a rough campaign from what I've heard, so most folks prob lean towards another faction if they're into chaos.
Daniel, Legendary, currently at 1.8% global completion rate for me to your last Q.
Edit: the non VH/leg completion is 4.8% for ol' Danny boy, so he's not very popular either by that marker, that or just reflective too of how many peeps don't really finish campaigns/even played RoC maybe.
The vast majority of people don't complete campaigns period. Vh/Leg Slaanesh, ogres, and daemon prince completions don't even have 1% more than tzeentch.
That being said, tzeentch has always been one of the least popular chaos factions behind nurgle and khorne in that order.
Now he has to compete with other way more popular factions like Empire and Kislev in IE
I'd guess it's an RoC thing. Have played Danny plenty of times and enjoyed it all the way through in IE. Absolutely hated his RoC starting area and RoC in general.
But with the nerf and WoC it shouldn't be that hard to do it now, but the next dlc will expand Tzeentch roster so it's maybe better to wait one or two months.
Can't wait.
