What's next after Thrones of Decay?

So i was wondering what further additions we COULD still expect after the Thrones of Decay DLC.
Just by looking online I'm still amazed about how many characters and factions I wasn't really aware about.

So what does everyone think what still could be added?

Just read about a LL named Eldyra just a few topics below.
As for my own input, I for one really think that Middenheim as a faction could use a rework and make Boris Todbringer an interesting character to play (or to play Middenheim as a faction at all for that matter).

He just feels so plain and not any different than a regular Empire General.
Then why even the pain of his unique look or the label: Legendary Lord in his character window? (i use recruit defeated Legendary Lords mod).
Where are the Warrior Priests of Ulric?

Come on now, Middenheim and Ulric were important enough to be the last theatre of The End Times! Just that makes it a real good reason for Middenheim to get some love!

Aside from that I just reread the novel: Broken Honour.
Nice read; perhaps a small FLC with Captain Ericsson would be nice??
(abit small content however).

The rumors are that they have deviated from their previous roadmap after Thrones of Decay so the next DLC will not be the Slaanesh themed one. It will also be a smaller DLC pack, either a single or duo LL pack.

I'm going to guess that it will be Monkey King vs Li Dao (Fire Dragon).

There is potentially a lot of content, both already created and the one that GW is currently developing in updating the old world. The only problem is CA, which at this stage makes very bad kits and does not invest the budget in new mechanics and new skeletons for units.

For example, the Dark Elves have 5 characters for DLC, Tullaris Dreadbringer, Anethra Helbane, Hotek, Kouran Darkhand, Urian Poisonblade.

Since there aren't any elves on RoC campaign, my guess for now would be Slaanesh, Bretonnia and Vampires (Hello Neferata !)

You actually think we'll be getting Bretonnia as paid DLC?

Also I don't think it's really relevant whether there are any Elf territories on RoC map, even if they don't expand it. CA has had absolutely zero problems putting lords wherever they feel like so far.

We're getting Elves with the Slaanesh DLC. Look into your heart, you know it to be true!

As it is, because there are no Elves, that's my guess. I won't complain if they put some Elves, but as long as it's not Elves ONLY, i'm fine.

As for Bretonnia, could be similar to the Sister of Twilights. Wood Elves were a paid DLC afterall at first.

Tbh, if they'd put 4 races in Slaanesh DLC, who am I to oppose them... However, let me reiterate, right now, based on RoC campaign map, my guess would be Bretonnia, Vampires and Slaanesh.

We'll see anyway.

Dunno. I don't know much about your waifu. Just as long as it's not a Nakai bis...



Edit : and with the same logic, after Slaanesh's DLC, Khorne could be about Norsca and Greenskins ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (but GS already got 5 LL, and don't need anything much anyway, so... they fit thematically though)

I would hope, now set on the current course that CA would continue the Chaos led three LL DLC packs with Slaanesh and Khorne themed ones. That aside to go deep and hard on the major fail of recent years in addressing the bugs, and fixes and schedules thereof for them.
Outside of and after that, anybody's guess and CA ca do whatever... but the above is pretty much the line for me rn.

They've stated that they are looking at smaller DLCs and they've hinted at the Monkey King.

So I tend to believe monkey king and something else next.
