You can even play Cathay without men, just as it should be. The age of man has passed.
OMEGALUL
Not talking about mods, i mean do it for the vanilla Empire.
Except that it isn't the same, it literally ties into Cathay's lore of wanting balance. Just admit you're scared of women, unless you're scared of that too
I admit i am very scared of a women such as yourself.
To all the Reddit / ResetEra neckbeard virgins: Chill. It's a mod. Don't install it if you don't like it.
To the OP: It's fine if you like the mod and want to use it, but to say that Cathay having female soldiers doesn't make sense is rather silly for two reasons.
• First, Warhammer is a fantasy setting. If you want historical Earth realism, then Warhammer probably isn't for you (wait until you find out about the Amazons).
• Second, Grand Cathay is based around the concept of harmony between Yin (female) and Yang (male), hence why Yang units tend to be male and Yin units tend to be female.
So yes, there is a lore reason for it.
Remember: Cathay isn't "Feudal China", it's Cathay. There's nothing out of place about floating buildings and female soldiers in a fantasy setting (just look around, the Warhammer world is already full of floating rocks and buildings).
It's still stupid to have female frontline soldiers, destroy your own population base
