There are way worse problems with the game than Denuvo.
Although it was fun seeing that there are some Denuvo fans who defend it at all costs, I never thought they could exist.
Denuvo defender found.
nope not gonna hpppen get a super computer or ...play farmville
Tinfoil?
Whatever is cheapest per M²
Can get through a fair amount when having an afternoon session on the forums.
Prices are going up as we all know.
But for topic, personally, I'm very interested in the supposed '3rd party testing with/without' and hope it's done by someone semi trustworthy (aka not in house)
I have strong doubts it affects the majority of users in a meaningful way.
There has been 0 evidence to support this claim unless something new has came up as recent as this year.
At worst, prior reputable tests have been inconclusive.
I agree but the passive FPS part would be accurate. It does 'something'.
But if it's 2 FPS and you still have 87 for example... is it noticeable.
No.
True, especially since Wh3 has performance issues by its own anyway, regardless of Denuvo!
It's also worth considering that how the devs integrate it plays a huge deal.
For example, if they put the calls to check for validity in say the rendering code, it indeed may cause some fps drops, but that's on the dev side and not denuvo.
Effect varies a lot per game.
First of all, I've not seen this video so thanks for sharing.
So it increased some load times for some games in some curcumstances and made almost no difference in gameplay fps. How damning, I suppose?
I particularly enjoyed all the admitted issues they encountered trying to make these comparisons and the commentary from a pirate advocating againsit it. I'm sure these items did not affect testing in the slightest.
I know you have a passion for bashing games and developers, so thank you again for providing this devastating evidence of how awful it is for gamers.
