I have not yet gain the level of jedi. I am still a trash noob with low skills. A war against those who hold the land means a war against all my allies and minus my trade income will dissaper.
In truth though stabbing them in the back is probably fine. I bet it's Cathay that took it.
Never Ally.
We looked across the sea to our Elven allies being consumed by Dark Elves(90% of Ulthuan), but couldn't shake a nagging feeling. The Moot, half of Averland, and Akendorf had been occupied by our other allies, the Dwarfs. They had a great empire in their own right, routing the Orks from the Badlands and marching East, and the trade income was immense. We tried all diplomacy, but they would not budge. So, with the last Elf settlements under siege, Franz saddled up Deathclaw and went to beat the crap out of some stubborn old grumblers in an epic world war.
Wood Elves, imo, are a lot more serious about their trees. Its Warhammer buddy, time for war.
I know its literally scripted when you are playing as WE for avelorn to lose Gaean Vale but there have been some WE runs i totally forgot about that chaos invasion event and avelorn just ends up colonising it few turns after.
You are absolutely right. But remember wood elves economy is depend on the trees. Gaining any other settlements is pointless for the economy. Other then some minor trading stuff. But the majority of your money comes from the trees and that also dictates how many army's and enemy's you can take on.
