For people having trouble with Tzeentch (Immortal Empires)

His new start can be a pain because of the anti player bias. But if you dont want to be surrounded by four lizard factions (They seriously need some more diverse factions in the southern part of the map) than heres some steps to take.

1. Bum rush nurgle on the left.
2. As youre attacking nurgle take each turn in your conquered cities to recruit blue horrors, then pink as soon as you can.
3. Once nurgle is dead immediately make a non aggression pact with slaanesh, even giving her gold to do it. Then start marching west to help wipe out the lizards attacking the tzeentch faction.
"but then I wont have the whole south" you wont regardless. Trust me.
4. WIPE OUT the lizards on the left. DO NOT make peace. Wipe out the faction.
5. Once they're dead go north and kill off the elves. Focus down one faction at a time or they'll gang up on you. Different people, mostly lizards, will start going to war with you. Wipe them out one at a time, focus them down.

other tips:
.You're going to NEED a second army. And if you know how Tzeentch's economy goes, you know its only good once you get it up and running. Focus on building stuff that helps your economy, especially in the early game.
.You'll want to avoid lustria. The lizards in southern nehelara will atack you, and if you're waging a two front war while only being able to afford two armies than best of luck to you.
.Have your buildings mainly in areas STRICTLY under your control. This is a general tip but given how A.I wants to gang up on you and your lack of any useful allies its especially true for Kairos
.Those 5%, 10%, 15% buildings add up. Take them.
.Those grimor buildings add up. Take them.
.Dont waste grimors transferring settlments to yourself. Give them to your allies as a sort of temporary buffer zone. If you steal it your enemy will just steal it right back.
.Early on HEAVILY focus on technologies that give you lower maintenence or extra income. Youll also want to increase your recruitment.
.Dont take chances as Tzeentch. Your strength is magic, dont risk losing lords on some random settlment.

Honestly I feel like his new starting position WOULD be good, but because the A.I likes to yeet themselves at you, even to their own detriment, with the way the southern continent is shaped it REALLY hurts Tzeentchs early campaign. Worse than the other races. Also... Lizardmen... tons of em. Youll spend your first 7ish turns fighting nurgle then a solid 40-80 just fighting lizards... maybe add in like 7-10 turns of elves in there somewhere. They seriously need some non lizard factions in the south.

[edit] almost forgot to mention to kill any rogue armies and beastmen near your territory. Yea, they used to leave chaos alone. They dont for some reason, theyll make a non aggression pact with you, break it, and start razing your settlments.

I cant judge effectiveness of this guide but I know for a fact that certain factions have very unforgiving starting positions in TW games (especially ones with lots of them) and I appreciate your initiative.

Tzeentch easily has the worst start I've played so far. Name a couple others, I might make another list or two

oof. Let me guess, now the lizards and elves are both at war with you? Pretty soom the lizards even further north will be too

the elves didn't declare war on me yet and the lizards to the west haven't reached me yet. So I am just pushing like crazy and investing money into the settlements further east,

Smart. Not really much you can do with the western settlments till Kairos gets back there, and youll have to be careful cuz theyll probably bring two full stacks. The elves will either do nothing or send two stacks. Either way the lizards will wipe them out, which is an out of the fring pan into the fryer situation
