Long load times.

its taking about 2-3 minutes for a loading screen, whyyyyy?

this is my ssd: 1TB Kingston NV1 M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD - 2100MB/s Read & 1700MB/s

You certain the SSD is configured correctly? It absolutely shouldn't take that long on an M2

I bought the computer prebuilt, so i assume everything is sorted because ive had it since December and everything else loads fine

I mean thats a pretty slow read and write speed for an m2. But it still shouldn't probably be over 45 or so seconds even with the slow speeds compared to better m2s. So something seems off for sure.

Im 90% certain it loaded fine in december when I played but not now. I wonder if a patch has ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up somehow?

I've had the same issue, it takes like 30 secs longer to load each time since patch 2.4. Granted im using mods. But those mods never affected the load times before.

Some mods can really tank the loading times, it was the same before and it is the same now. But without mods you definitely should not be getting 2 minute load times, especially with an M2 drive. OP's system is screwed up in some way.

I just got the game, and I thought that was pretty normal. Did I miss out on some sick loading times?

I mean depends on hardware my load times were sub 30 seconds when I played last. Though I haven't played since november so its possible if something jacked them up it could be different. Not playing till 3.0 so dunno.

ive only got a handful of mods and they dont do very much tbf, my friend loads in waaaay before me and all my specs are higher.

I cant see how, I load into every other game fast but this.

How many saves do you have? Not just the current campaign, but for all your campaigns?

Also mods, no matter what they do, can slow down various processes. It is injected code that is not "supposed" to be there.

I've already deleted all of them and reinstalled. Still the same issue

My initial load in is 1:40. This is longer than it used to be, but I use about 12 mods.

Im getting the longest loading times ever ATM. 5-10 minutes. I used to play IE heavily modded last year and it was fine, 40s max load time. Now it's just unplayable.

Similar problem, but it varies...2 of 3 battle are fine and about 30sec the other take up to 2 min....it seems there could be a problem with loading the preview of the terrain...the bar starts ticking when the preview is loaded and there is no clear pattern to it (ambush underway whatever) even a fresh install didnt help so i guess its on ca side?!
