Tomb kings update
Will tomb kings ever get any love, i feel like their roster is very old and is missing units that most other factions have as in types of units. I don't think this is about faction aesthetic anymore as much as its just a fact that every other faction just got so many unit roster updates, while TK just didn't. Tomb kings feel like just one old DLC that got added and never worked on, i know there where balance patches but that's just not it : l, does anyone think they will give TK any love in the future or can i just regret getting the DLC?

it would be so much better if devs revisited this one faction, i think this is the only faction that hasn't gotten any new units or lords in a really long while unlike other factions. I don't get why you got so mad about it : /
Because this one faction is special in that YOU like it..
Every kid out there want's them to add something to just this "one" faction because that would be better..
They should add this lord, because that's what I want.
They should do this because that's what I want.

Maybe it is not just about you, or what you want, as mentioned above it's a fairly complete roster, and your problem seems to be that they gave it all in 1 go (apart from the BG).

The tech tree needs to be fixed. IT is incoherent and nothing in each tree has any direction.

The real secret is that you just research the dynasties for those +1 army unlocks.

Maybe the cheapest Hero capacity and the unique Lord as well if he's actually better than a generic Lord.

But yeah, every turn spent on researching those unit improvements is a turn spent not researching the army capacity upgrades.

You don't need that much army capacity, thou, if you are microing chartiots like madma... Great Settra, the Imperishable, Khemrikhara, The Great King of Nehekhara, King of Kings, Opener of the Way, Wielder of the Divine Flame, Punisher of Nomads, The Great Unifier, Commander of the Golden Legion, Sacred of Appearance, Bringer of Light, Father of Hawks, Builder of Cities, Protector of the Two Worlds, Keeper of the Hours, Chosen of Ptra, High Steward of the Horizon, Sailor of the Great Vitae, Sentinel of the Two Realms, The Undisputed, Begetter of the Begat, Scourge of the Faithless, Carrion-feeder, First of the Charnel Valley, Rider of the Sacred Chariot, Vanquisher of Vermin, Champion of the Death Arena, Mighty Lion of the Infinite Desert, Emperor of the Shifting Sands, He Who Holds The Sceptre, Great Hawk Of The Heavens, Arch-Sultan of Atalan, Waker of the Hierotitan, Monarch of the Sky, Majestic Emperor of the Shifting Sands, Champion of the Desert Gods, Breaker of the Ogre Clans, Builder of the Great Pyramid, Terror of the Living, Master of the Never-Ending Horizon, Master of the Necropolises, Taker of Souls, Tyrant to the Foolish, Bearer of Ptra's Holy Blade, Scion of Usirian, Scion of Nehek, The Great, Chaser of Nightmares, Keeper of the Royal Herat, Founder of the Mortuary Cult, Banisher of the Grand Hierophant, High Lord Admiral of the Deathfleets, Guardian of the Charnal Pass, Tamer of the Liche King, Unliving Jackal Lord, Dismisser of the Warrior Queen, Charioteer of the Gods, He Who Does Not Serve, Slayer off Reddittras, Scarab Purger, Favoured of Usirian, Player of the Great Game, Liberator of Life, Lord Sand, Wrangler of Scorpions, Emperor of the Dunes, Eternal Sovereign of Khemri's Legions, Seneschal of the Great Sandy Desert, Curserer of the Living, Regent of the Eastern Mountains, Warden of the Eternal Necropolis, Herald of all Heralds, Caller of the Bitter Wind, God-Tamer, Master of the Mortis River, Guardian of the Dead, Great Keeper of the Obelisks, Deacon of the Ash River, Belated of Wakers, General of the Mighty Frame, Summoner of Sandstorms, Master of all Necrotects, Prince of Dust, Tyrant of Araby, Purger of the Greenskin Breathers, Killer of the False God's Champions, Tyrant of the Gold Dunes, Golden Bone Lord, Avenger of the Dead, Carrion Master, Eternal Warden of Nehek's Lands, Breaker of Djaf's Bonds... and many, many more...

Considering how critical this game is to CA's finances at this point, there probably will be a TK LL added eventually. Could be on the tail end of the lifecycle though.

Yeah but that still doesn't mean the tech trees can't be cleaned up and have some semblance of direction vs the spaghetti tossed arrangement it is now.

It's not missing any units.
Yes, it is. It's lacking bone giants with swords / dual-weapons, for which there are already tabletop models and artwork:

It's also lacking the Khemric Titan: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/warhammerfb/images/2/21/Khemric_Titan.jpg/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/1000?cb=20170722150133
...As well as a few legendary lords and heroes, such as Tutankhanut, Apophas, and Sehenesmet.
Don't you forget the reader of titles, Nekaph.
Solarfried 16 MAR 2024 a las 11:43 a. m.
Tutankhanut with a Numas faction and support from his scythan followers would be great...

Prince Apophas could be a legendary hero for him...

The roster being old and dusty is par for the course for the Tomb Kings :P

Probably a whole lot worse than the people working on TK:E. Let us hope they never actually try to.

I'd love to see CA take another look at Tomb Kings and their versions of Prince Apophas, the Khemric Titan and more.

Faction identity is the trick they really missed though in the DLC, and what I hope they'd expand upon in any further additions, and is what is what I was aiming for in TK:E. A Khemri save being identifiably different than a Lybaras run, and different than Exiles through either troops, characters, mechanics, buildings or abilities that they have would be nice. Arkhan has always been the only Tomb King who has stood apart from the rest due to his (highly limited) access to some Vampire Counts - the vanilla versions of the factions of Khemri, Lybaras and Exiles have so much potential for separate identities which has gone unexplored.

The High Priest himself graces us. I for one would welcome a tech tree overhaul that plays into the faction's unique identity and a unique look for each of the units depending on their faction like drycha has for the welfs.

If I were a betting man, I'd say a major DLC aimed and all the undead factions and possibly adding a Nagash "race" that would be like united chaos but for undead is coming. Id guess that would be the second to last DLC we get for this game.
Chiller 19 ABR 2024 a las 8:59 a. m.
Kings of the Tombs need 1 DLC w/ :
