What DLC should I get this sale?
So, with discounts available again, I think it's time to get the DLC. I already have Chorfs and Ogres, so that leaves getting CoC, SoC, or both. CoC has been out for nearly two years already and is only 33% off, so it's unlikely to drop any further in the near future. Main factions I'm interested in playing are Khorne, Slannesh, Kislev, and Cathay.

EDIT: I would primarily be playing on the RoC map, as I find the IE map needlessly large and complicated and prefer the smaller, story-focused gameplay of RoC.

EDIT 2: I ended up getting both CoC and SoC, and started a Miao Ying RoC campaign. Yes, it was pricey, but it's nice to be able to play any faction without worrying about "missing" units.

I can't believe SOC is only 20% still no where near worth the price.

.

Champions of Chaos is fantastic. They made one of the most tedious and dull factions into one of the most interesting. Highly recommend it.

Shadows of Change is also really good and I recommend, but if I only had to choose one it would be Champions.

heres the thing, i believe its not time based, but its more like "dlc stairs" ie. the discount is based on how recent the dlc is and everytime a new dlc comes the older ones get moved down the stairs and get higher discounts

basicly, once ToD comes out the discounts gona get reshufled, probably....

If you want to keep posting you should buy their Free Speech DLC first, that allows you to have the right to discuss.

Let me guess: you got hit with a banhammer during those two days of forum policing for blatant rule breaking and you're still mad about it?

Or are you still catching up on some old content creator videos where they told you to be mad?

So, back on topic, is it worth buying CoC, SoC, both, or neither?

Champions of Chaos is the only decent DLC for WH3. If you're going to buy one; buy that one.

They are not. An honest price would be 40% off. Since u already bought CD you might aswell take the others two aswell (CoC is better).

I ended up buying both, just so I would have the full breadth of content to play with.

CoC is mid.
SoC is def NOT worth it at all, no matter what the shills tell you.
just look what it offers and it doesn't come close to 5% of the base game for 45% of the gameprice with bad replay value
