ok so since we got the chaos gods how about we get a horned rat as a new leader he could have his own chaos followers along with the normal skaven units

The Great horned Rat himself i dont think would be made into a playable character, he is in the game 2's skaven campaign granting victory to the skaven that controls the great vortex and releases him, and he's too big and powerful,.

Grey Seers like Thanquol i could see coming at one point, Verminlords too.

^ The Rat-Queen delivers. The Horned Rat will never be playable for the same reason that Khorne or Tzeentch won´t.
They´re gods, for them to manifest in the world would mean the physical world and the Realm of Chaos has fully merged and the world is fully doomed.

The "rat demons" would be verminlords. They act like greater daemons of the horned rat (that said, there aren't any other daemons of the horned rat. So it might be wrong to call them greater daemons.)

Would not be surprised to see Verminlords being added as a unit and Exalted Verminlords being added as a lord alternative eventually in a DLC, they are part of the 8th edition codex.
