Anything else does wonders, heck, I love melee lords / heroes on a chariot.
Only exception is Cylostra's Leviathan, which is giant and causes terror.
Corpse Carts for Necromancers are quickly replaced by the balefire versions.
I'm not sold that the armor increase at the cost of speed is worth it for the clockwork horses. Cold Ones work for Masters becuase I usually want them to stay in melee anyway, but Engineers are better for shooting.
Beastmen characters are outstanding on chariots.
Some of them get like... 150 and more charge bonus on their chariot. Causes terror, too.
And then you can accelerate with Foe Seeker + Pendant of Slaanesh.
So where ever you send them, lines will break almost instantly.
He said he's not good at microing them, thus he prefers other easier to handle mounts.
Horses are fine, Tyrion on a his is not weak at all.
Chariots it depends, Khazrak on his chariots smash without any need of micro, same for exalted hero of nurgle or norscan lords, but the high elves ones are a waste yeah
I would dare say that crab unit and mount is one of the worst units in the whole game. Bad animation, easy to hit, horrible hit registrations and it's slow. I would never agree it's good for any character. It messes up shooting animation as well, even if they technically have higher elevation, so it's worse, since animation isn't working as smooth and I remember it being bugged at one point.
I always had good outcomes with gunnery wights and female admiral on them, damage wise and accuracy wise it's good to me unless there have been a big change in the last months.
The crab gunners have a big nemesis thought : strong flying units since crabs are big and not speedy enough to escape them, you better shoot them down before they meet your characters or you will loose them very quick, and enemies guns too of course.
I never tried this indeed, i never really plays doomstacks or very rarely
I just watched a crushing noble doomstack out of curiosity, it destroys enemies for sure i give you that, but isn't just a display of how the trait is strong rather than the chariots themselves ?
Regardless it was fun to watch hehe
