Game crashes a lot after new update

hi guys, as title says after update 5.2 I'm experiencing some crashes on campaign map, i'm playing a queek headtaker camapign, in the first 10 turns it already crashed 2 times while on campaign map, after i click on a settlement everything freeze up and then the game just crash. Anyone else is experiencing this?

sorry you are right,some detail is needed, brand new campaing, no mods at all, all files verified

hmm, sry seem u already did the basic troubleshooting----next u could check if gpu drivers are valid and with the summerheat if vents etc are working ok....havent launched it yet (waiting for some mods to update) but if it would be an universal thing the forum would be on a waagh....worst thing make a fresh install if bandwidth aint a thing...ciao

delete warhammer folder in %appdata% and start the game, you have to redo all settings again

Just to let you guys know, i tryed to play the campaign one last time befire trying the fix siggested by pollo and i was greeted by a brand new crash, the game crashed during tha AI turn this time. I'm now trying your fix mate

sorry to bother you again, i'm in the appdata folder, i open the creative assembly folder and i find 3 folders in it, named: launcher, warhammer, and warhammer3, should i delete only warhammer3 folder?

Make sure to do backup a saved game file from warhammer folder, you might get it from recycle bin and move to saved games folder, if it crashes again, so you should report a bug in the official CA forum and upload your saved game file.

thanks mate, i tried your fix but the game still crashes... don't really know what to now

yeah i have similiar issues. Now i get crashes during AI's turns and to be more specific,when these roaming pirate factions make their turn. it happened in two different campaigns now and somehow always when there are only 50-60 factions left.

5.1 was well known for crashes during/after battles, few streamers did experienced it, I saw one myself. Vanilla versions and games working normally. Thanks for testing. Guess who didn't ^^

So we just have to wait for a holy fix from CA

Hopefully they will be able to resolve any issues in a hotfix update.

hi, maybe its a skaven issue, i have also crashes on campaignmap since 5.2 in my current Ikit game, i'll try another campaign and tell you if this still happens.
