I know in-lore he served Tamurkhan but what's the point of a legendary hero that ONLY one lord can use while Ku'Gath and Epidemius have only the regular heroes ?

You can't get him directly yes, but you can still get Kayzk if you confed Tamurkhan (and his others chieftain heroes if tamu got them)
