How to increase funds for Skirmish vs AI battle mode?

MAP SETTINGS:

Unit Scale: Ultra
Large Armies: box is checked

My funds for a practice battle are maxed as 24,800. Ummm... WHAT?

Been a while since I've played Rome TW and the other early TW games, but I don't think I've EVER played a TW game that's come out in the last decade or so where you couldn't increase funds available for Skirmish vs AI battle.

What am I missing?

Try toggling the army caps and control Large army settings.

Edit: Is it deleting the number you type into custom funds and replacing it with 24,800?

Just found the Custom Funds option in the MAP settings. Crazy me. I was looking for the option on the main army set up page. You know, the page where all the unit costs and funds are shown.
