lore explanation?
As per title... does anyone know of where one can find a nice ~5-10 page eli40 on the whole warhammer lore thing? I just simply don't have the time or interest for a whole book or hours of youtube on the topic.

And the End Times, with people considering it non-canon for some reason

End Times is completely non-canon to Warhammer Fantasy, as it's the (often contradictory to established lore) 'what if reality ended so we could start a new set of minis to sell' opener for Age of Sigmar. Since they decided to resume Warhammer Fantasy, that means End Times /had/ to be completely rendered non-canon in a very official capacity.

Otherwise, you have things like 'On friday, frank died when the world ended. On saturday, frank went to the store and bought some cheese.'

Sadly their trying to have their cake and eat it to, realizing how popular the old school fantasy setting is from Warhammer Total War/Vermintide, and that Age of Sigmar doesn't translate as well into video games without feeling like reskinned 40k. Old World takes place in one of the previous ages, where most of the over all big player factions are the same as right before end time.

Why do the Dawi always say "One Rag"?

"Rag" is probably a word in their language. GW really went ham on them and made a fully fleshed language, and it seems in TWW, despite mostly speaking English, they'll throw in words in their own language too. Doing that is probably some kind of trope.

It's actually older than that. Apparently people have been making theories about ancient aliens since the 50s and 60s.

There is a 2000 year old roman story about traveling through space, meet plant women and have sex with those and then get stuck with the penis. the 2 that couldn't resist the temptation of having sex with the plant ladies had to be left behind. Although it was not a planet. It was an Island with a river of wine, somewhere in space.

I'm going to guess folks like Giorgio A. Tsoukalos would use say that it was an ancient Roman account of an alien abudction.
