The game is always on sale if you find a legit cd key site like kinguin. I got wh3 for around $25
Kinguin isn’t a legit key site
Probably the steam spring sale
You can buy the trilogy (all 3 core games and 12 races) for $27.49 USD from CD KEYS . C O M

For that price I'd absolutely recommend it. Personally I think the game is a masterpiece.

Warhammer3 as a core title is still rubbish.

I have never had any issues with kinguin. I have a ton of receipts to prove it's legit. Always get what I pay for with no issues.

There is also this site to check for sales on legit sites. https://isthereanydeal.com/game/total-war-warhammer-iii/info/

Having successful purchases doesn't make it 100% legit. It's just the nature of an open market, anyone can sell keys there and they're not asking you where you got them from.
But sure, G 2 A was worse, you could even pay for insurance when buying something there before.

I saw a discussion from a dev. that complained about Kinguin and G2play, they said that rather than buying from there it's better to pirate their games.
The sellers on those sites use stolen CC and afterwards the Game producer has to waste a ton of money in court rooms, lawyer fees and other crap tied to criminality for a fking 10$ purchase .... because it was basically them accepting stolen money.

I was also using those sites a LOT until I watched that interview. Better pirate a game, see if you like it and if you do then see for yourself if you think it's work the price asked here or on their site by the dev.

And what do You want from Kinguin?
If these keys are functional - it simply means, that it is not scam. These keys were created to be selled. They do not have any duty to reveal where they get the keys, provission etc.
Like Your local shops do not publicly reveal prices from providers
