Ahh..I see, it was a free download for the first game; so you couldn't use it without owning that game.
It's so you can't summon behind walls you haven't made a path through yet.
Several maps of the Bretonnia and Dwarf fort type have errors with the ground which can generally not be used for summons.
Couronne / Praag (3 sections, 1 isolated)
Karak Kadrin (4 sections, 2/2-split isolated)
And any campaign-mode reskins (like Kislev's Praag) or repeats of those maps (Couronne and Karak Kadrin are very frequent).
Parravon, Zhufbar, Kislev, and Erengrad maps have contiguous deployment zones (0 isolated sections) and should be fine.
Well, that's all for after Steam Family Share being stricter about how DLCs are shared since its terms were updated a while back.
