Go ahead, advertize a bit here. I dont really like Lizardmen but I like the Slann and used to play Hexoatl (?) with Mazdamundi a bit in Warhammer 2, so I might check out Oxyotl even thought hes a Skink

He makes chameleon stalkers worth using in his campaign.
The guy is literally Splinter Cell but as a faction. Tried him out as my first time with lizardmen after finally getting Taurox. It's amazing how much of a painful nuisance you can be to any chaos based faction; Major settlements razed, expensive armies ambushed and demolished, property sold to neghbouring states that effectively gives them the upper hand. Oxyclean magic eraser, wipe that scum (chaos) off your walls (the reikland).

Lizardman XCOM.

Take the fight to the Chaos Scum, Commander. Just beware those 95% chance to win battles, never know when the odds won't be in your favor...

You take some saurus and dinosaurs, and then you have some chameleon skinks and stalkers sneak behind the enemy army... and they just get demolished.

Does he still have that bug where random norscan armies spawn in your territory for no reason?

Yea, that 95% was more like a 75% and the shotgun in the face of the enemy with 55% hit chance was annoying AF.

"Went of the Armor"
he's a blast. chameleon skinks with him are ridiculous. they're like little menaces running around at top speed with blow dart AK47's. you can become ultra rich with him by just stealing chaos held port settlements, and skipping everything else. it gives you massive map control, tons of trade opportunity, and all your settlements have great growth! the only thing that I dislike is dealing with kairos, but once you kick him out of the south pole, your campaign is in cruise control.

Never played Lizard men because of the main focus on melee, but my next campaign will probably be with him.

They have dinosaurs with laser beams, fire lobbing salamanders, and use orbital bombardment. They are not so melee focused as they look at first; it's just that their ranged options doesn't look like typical empire ranged options.

Chameleon skinks are possibly the best skirmishers in the game; stalk AND 40% missile resist is good - and that's without OXyotl's many special buffs.
With his army of chameleon skinks you can put them on skirmish mode and walk away.
your campaign (and the final battle in vortex) essentially is just sabotaging chaos. chameleon skink with oxyotl's stat boosts and more importantly snipe are awesome skirmishers

why do you need a front line. front lines hold off enemy infantry, give a target to enemy ranged and try to do outdo the enemy in melee. if you are units are invisible, they don't they the enemy to be redirected. I usually just stick to chameleon stalkers as melee.

my usual oxyotl composition is 11 chameleon skinks, 6 chameleon stalker, 1 oxyotl, 1. oracle of the sacred plagues and 1 lord kroak. then I divide my army in two groups of 3 stalkers, 3 groups of three chameleon skinks, 1 group of oxyotl and two chameleon skinks and I group kroak and the oracle together. then I position my chameleons over two locations, having the groups stay together, and my magic duo in the back.
