Being the Destroyer of Khorne, he should never lose unless he dies while at its, yet he loses twice, and lives. Does not even get turned into a Chaos Spawn, like his lore says he would have to be.
I am a big Khorne guy, and to me, Arbaal is the worst character ever added to Khorne's lore, bcause he basically ignores it with no consequences.
It is not an issue for this game, but this whole series. And I am not talking about just the Warhammer games. Atilla with the slavic tribes poison archers was exactly the same thing, AR your way to victory.
Speak for yourself dweeb Cylostra's voice is gloriously camp, distilled Warhammer essence
How is this relevant to the post of someone saying they're having fun jesus christ lmfao
why do you need them to know why their choice of lord is incorrect so badly
You NEED to be able to answer that question man, it's goofy
Also the point Isaac was making is that the DLC lords aren't really much better in this regard. They're extremely easy too, just can't autoresolve everything unlike Arbaal, because he happens to buff units with extremely good autoresolve, and can teleport to favorable fights.
At least Ogres are really fun in multiplayer now, so much good new stuff. My favorites are Pigback Riders, Blood Vultures, and Eshin Maneater. Sure hope the Riders don't get nerfed to oblivion, even if they're a bit OP right now.
This response is a bit late, but I played on L/VH, just pick at least one fight every turn past 5 with your teleport. Aim for stronger targets, it's even better if you can teleport, kill the target, and then fight a battle or two afterwards. Bonus points if nearby enemy armies attack you when you end turn so you can farm more XP.
I only played until turn 37 before I got bored (and annoyed at having to manage my 20+ armies), and quit. Looking at the records, it appears I lied. Arbaal actually reached rank 50 on turn 33. I'd fought 52 battles with him by the time I quit the campaign (turn 37, like I stated earlier).
So I fought 15 battles more than the turn count with Arbaal, and this isn't accounting for reinforcing armies, or garrison units. I wasn't even trying to get levels, it just happened naturally.
Oh, and out of the 127 battles I fought in those 37 turns factionwide (didn't even recruit additional armies until the last few turns of my campaign, this is all Blood Hosts), only one was fought manually. That one manual battle was for Zharr-Naggrund, and no, I didn't rush it for early tier 4 settlement.
