Worth with only wh1 + wh2 + wh3 bundle? no dlcs?

i want to know if its worth for buy only bases games.. cause have like 250 usd in dlcs..

DLC only unlocks it's content for you to play as, everything will be on the map regardless of what you buy.

Don't buy any DLC until you know you like the game and have played the base lords.

When you've done that decide what faction/lord interests you, then only buy DLC for what you plan on playing soonish. There are fairly regular steam sales so buying everything is probably a waste of money given you probably won't play everything before the next sale.

Nah, not really. CA been going downhill for some time now. If you talking about paying full price for 1+2+3 then also nah. Def not worth it.

That said WH3 isn't horrible, but it *is* a total mess under the hood. Unit responsiveness took a massive dive, sieges are a cartoonish minigame by comparison to older TW's and the AI in some cases is full on broken. (To name just a few of its flaws.)

wow thanks na i just was to buy it on eneba for 24 usd wh2 and wh3 .. but nvm.. gonna buy other game then ? its that ugly?

If you enjoyed game 1 back then you'll most likely enjoy this game as well.

If you hated game 1 then this will be more of the same but in a more streamlined package.

There are a lot of people who hate this game and a lot of people who play it regularly.

Some people are even in both groups.

Play it for yourself and find out which you are.

If you ever see this game and some DLCs etc. for like half off- then I'd say go for it.

23 usd in eneba for All warhammers include the 2 and 3. i had wh1 already.. idk i have a hate love relation with the 1.. but now i have a decent pc and want to try how looks and wanted to try the mortal empires thing.. but scare me the amount of dlcs this game have. its insane.

It's worth it even without the first two games. Unlike Paradox games, where you're playing a neutered campaign unless you buy everything, you are playing the exact same game here, no matter if you own nothing or everything. The only difference is which factions are available to choose from.

And which units are available to that faction, but most DLC units are unneeded.

So, yes game is fine without DLC. A couple of factions really benefit from having DLC a couple of specific DLC, but that's going to happen when there are like 20 races.

I'd specifically advise against ever buying more than a couple of DLC at a time. You are unlikey to play the game enough to ever get around to every single Legendary Lord, so only buy DLC for factions you want to play in the near future, and even then, only if the DLC lord/units interest you over the base version.

those dlc are power ups and have different mechanics. i think base game should be enough to test your interest. with exception of race pack. which is not available in main game.

If you are a new player you might be better of buying some of the better DLC's for $5 a piece than buying the older games. Because the DLC campaigns are better and you get new types of units. Take the Queen and the Crone DLC for example. It gives you a dark elf and a high elf lord, but it also unlocks another 4 free lords to play with. That should be enough to play those two races for a good long time.
