What happens to Arbaal in campaign if he gets defeated and accept or deny getting defeated trait?

I`m just curious. Denying become defeated in-game means campaign end - does it mean that he indeed get turned into chaos spawn, like in lore? If he accept defeated title, is there a way to regain satisfaction of Khorne, maybe by winning new quest battle in chaos realms? I searched the web on this topic but have found only dilemma with defeated trait, no further explanation.

There’s a pop up that appears and you have 2 options either end your campaign there and start a new one or you can continue playing and Arbaal gets a new trait called defeated that gives you a permanent-30 diplo relationship with all Khorne factions. That’s it and there’s no way to lose the trait

This just highlights what a stupid character Arbaal is. You should auto-lose if you ever lose a battle as him, no matter what. Yet in the Lore he loses against the High Elves, TWICE!

He even retreats after teh first time, which should have seen him IMMEDIATELY be damned into spawnhood.
He is Khorne's Gary Stu character, poorly written and does not even follow his own Lore rules.
