Orc boar boyz beat miners in a straight up fight without additional factors being involved. They win even more when cycle charged.

The version with blasting charges might change things, but when i tested it they generally never got their blasting charge off before contact (the boar boys moving to quickly).
Keep in mind that stuff like campaign buffs, being tired, or even fighting uphill* can make all the difference to a units effectiveness in this game.

Boar boyz are amazing, skill issue.
The worst unit in the game have to be the screamers of Tzeentch. I can't imagine why anyone would recruit it over any fury unit (which are one of the weakest units in a Tzeentch roster, useful only for their flying ability).
