Grand campaign and TW:WH 1/2?

Newly returned player here; played a lot of WH 1 and WH 2 back in the day.

Got WH 3 on Christmas sale, and was wondering: do I need to reinstall both of the previous games in order to play that grand campaign mode? (forget what it was called; the one where you can use all of the factions from the previous games in addition to the new ones) Or in single battles?

I assumed there's a mode like that in this game, but given the sheer size of each game, I don't wanna reinstall 1 and 2 if I don't have to. Thanks!


P.S. while I'm at it, what's a fun faction to try in 3? I played basically every faction in 1 and 2 at least once, and iirc my favorites were the Vampire Pirates and, bizarrely, Norsca, even though I usually don't like horde gameplay and rushdown melee armies in TW (I'm an England and Sparta player at heart).

u dont need to have game 1 and 2 instaled at all, just own them in your library

as for factions, i guess khorne and slaanesh would work for you
