He will still be in your recruit pool, being wounded for 5 turns (means 5 turns till he can be employed again).
You can also exchange lords when you go into their info/skill screen, on the bottom right there is a "boot" button which lets you disband the lord you selected for another lord you have in your recruit pool. Keep in mind that the new lord only REPLACES the old lord.
This is the only way to 'disband' legendary lords (without sending them to die that is), in case you conferderated an LL and want him disbanded. If you done this, just disband the normal lord you switched in like said above.
The supplylines bug was fixed, so no worries about that.
