Female Characters

As a girl I really want to see more female characters, it's a bit disappointing seeing the super small list and all the supposed 'gender neutral' races represented by only men, like Orcs who are supposedly just a mushroom but are very obviously all men.

Valkia is cool, but she's the only female demon/chaos character and it took them 3 games and a million DLCs to finally add one, so seeing some more would be amazing.

There are only 2 Norsca lords, so there'd be some room to add female characters there, right?

People mentioned before that there is a possibility for female Dwarf characters so that would be cool, how about the Empire too though, or some more High Elves at least?

Are there any other possible female LL we could see in the future?

For those that we may get in the future,
-We're almost definitely getting Elspeth for the Empire. She will logically be part of the same DLC as Thamurkhan (he's a Nurgle LL). She's a female human mage on a dragon, from Nuln.

-We're almost definitely getting Neferata for Vampire Counts. She's the first Vampire in the lore, so she's pretty important. Her turf is the silver spire in the north western darklands, though she's been moving a lot, ploting while trying to not be found by Khalida.

-We're relatively likely to get at least one more female Cathay character down the line, as Yin Yin has been mentionned several time. She's a female dragon, sister of Miao Ying, and seems to be in charge of the eastern coast of Cathay/of the cathayan naval fleet.

-We're relatively likely to get Dechala for Slaanesh at some point, since she's one of the few remaining important monogod Slaanesh character. She's a heavily mutated ex human character, forever banned of accessing the daemon prince status.

-We're also pretty likely to get at least one more Kislev female character (Mother Ostyanka). She's an old witch that seem quite creepy in the lore. Could be a LH instead of a LL though.

-We're relatively unlikely to get Naieth for Wood elves. She's a mage, and is our advisor during some of the WE scenario in WH2. It doesn't seem like CA has plan to add her tbh, but who knows.

Finally, we technically just got another female character this patch ( Ulrika); but as a LH. It's worth noting that we do not know the full list of possible LL for Kislev and Cathay since they aren't available GW side yet. Could have one or two more in there easily, but we won't know for a while.

As a woman, I don't give two shakes of a rats ass what gender a character has.

Do they appear unique and have fun mechanics is all I care about. Gender, race, sexuality are not traits that make a compelling character.

It'll be better once Amazons come out with 8 legendary lords at their launch

Well the Lizardmen aren't actually male or female they don't have genders and spawn from pools.

Skaven females are monstrous birthing machines that never leave the nests so that's kind of out.

Dark elves have Hellebrone and Morathi.
High elves have Alarielle
Wood Elves have Naestra and Arahan
Tomb Kings have Khalida
Vampire Coast has Aranessa and Cylostra
Vampire Counts have Isabella
Britonnia has Repanse and Enchantress
That just leaves Katarin and Miao Ying

But honestly though they show up as "male" a lot of these lords aren't really male or female or are some kind of monster. Durthu, Dryca, N'kari, Ku'gath, Azazel, Kholek and Throg.

I'd love to see them add a DLC which revamps the Red Duke and the vampires and adds Neferata and Nagash.

This just isn't true. If Lizardmen are genderless why are they called Lizard-men. Point taken. It's just that there's no Lizardwomen

And why would all those factions even send their women to war? The fact so many of them already do is very unusual, but since it's a fantasy setting it's expected and welcome even to have an odd female only fighting unit that makes sense in-universe.

But it would make ZERO sense, even in a high fantasy setting to have "gender neutral" armies, there are obvious reasons why women are not sent to the frontlines with men that should not have to be explained. So no, no female Norscan Lords, no female Dwarven Warriors, no female Spearmen, makes no logical sense at all.

Last time I checked both Lizardmen and Orcs are asexual. It seems less like you care about the actual representation of gender and are looking for more characters that look like you or fit your idea of what a woman should be. That's fine but in this setting human females that go to war seem to be notable exceptions, wizards, or from Kislev.

There are a couple female LL still possible, but not many. Right off the bat, I can think of Neferata (Vampire Counts) and Emmanuelle von Liebwitz for the Empire.

Orcs are basically tools made for war. Why should they have females? Doesn't make any sense.

Either way, the Warhammer lore doesn't have many female characters. It's a story of war and females are simply precious for giving life and not taking it. For better or for worse, the Warhammer lore never bothered with political correctness and unless CA literally creates new lore, the chances of getting some more female LL are pretty bleak.
