do tell me you have handgunners...
It did nothing. His HP just kept popping back up.
For him to not die even though youve destroyed his entire army means he's counting for a big chunk of that army's combat power, because normally you would have hit the army losses point by then and he would just crumble. Are you using any mods?
Basically his hp would not go below 6,200. As soon as it got down to that point, it instantly replenished.
No I don't use mods. I tried hitting him with everything I had. Guns, arrows, swords, all of it, he just laughed it off. Admittedly I didn't use magic, since I didn't have any spell casters in the army. But come on, that really shouldn't be necessary when it's just one guy.
And of course, when I hit auto-resolve, I easily curb-stomped the enemy. But I don't like to use auto-resolve for full 20 stack v 20 stack battles, and in this case I really should not have had to.
Well that would certainly explain this. And to think I waited all the way up this month to start playing the game because I figured that would be enough time to fix these kinds of issues.
Yah, it's still in BETA --but I feel you. Personally, I don't even like WH3 that much b/c the world map feels way too smashed together. Being able to have armies city-hop from one settlement to another every turn took something away from the campaign map in a way that's hard to define. I much prefer WH2's campaign map.
Ok. He is level 29 too with a high ward save.
I think the best way to deal with him in your conditions would be to kite him, clear his army and keep kiting him until he crumbles.
Ideally you want to stick someone on him to make him run in circle. Wizard on a horse is normally my choice for that stuff.
Once you are done with his army he should slowly crumble. Once he crumble just shoot him with every handgunners/cannons/Hellblasters that you have.
He doesn't regenerate forever since he will reach his cap at some point but this might take a while.
Did that bug come back ?
pretty sure they fixed that after IE.
But I did have them and it didn't help one bit
Used to be you could see the numbers but they removed that for some reason.
Autoresolve barely takes abilities into account, might as well just break out the cheatmods if that's what it takes for you to win on hard
