Disabling intel cpu's effecient cores solves crash/stutter
Previously, it would crash every few tens of minutes after 3.0 patch. After turning off all the efficient cores in the BIOS, it never crashed again.

This is hilarious because it just added an Intel advertisement to the opening animation of the game in 3.0

Really if true that's truly ironic and comic.

Because they made a deal with intel with the typical proud and brave attitude.

LOL

At least that's the case for me personally. I saw this solution on another game forum and decided to give it a try, and it actually solved the crash problem.

Before that, I had tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, and deleting the entire profile save directory, but none of those methods worked.

This has been a recommendation since the game launched.
No Problem on my end...i7 13700k 0.075mv Undervolt. Runs buttersmooth on 1440p.

i5-13600k. No problems. I played 7-8 hours of 3.0 before first crash. I dont think I encountered stuttering. Ill eddit this post after checking if benchmark still works as normal.

Edit I tried benchmark. Average FPS increased by 6 minimal FPS by 4. So it would appear that game is 2,9% faster.

BTW Prior to 3.0 I played approximately 55 hours with 0 crashes. I guess it could be just coincidence (but fps improvement is slightly too high to be coincidence).

How much lotion do you apply?

This made a massive difference. Silky smooth battles on Ultra, I'm not kidding. Nothing drops below 45fps

KNOWN ISSUES & SOLUTIONS
As you dive into the game, we want to equip you with the knowledge of a few known issues we're already tracking and working to fix for our post-launch updates, as well as some helpful tips in to help you work around them in the meantime. We're already working on more permanent solutions to these issues for a future update—along with additional changes already planned for the game.
ISSUE 1: IN RARE CASES, THE GAME CAN BECOME UNSTABLE AND CRASH WHEN ALT+TABBING BETWEEN ACTIVE WINDOWS WHILE RUNNING IN FULL-SCREEN MODE.
✔ Solution: Set your game to run in windowed mode by enabling the ‘Run in Window’ option in the graphics settings panel, or avoid ALT+Tabbing while the game is open.
ISSUE 2: IN BATTLE, FLYING MONSTERS ORDERED TO ATTACK MONSTROUS GROUND ENEMIES MAY STRUGGLE TO LAND AND EFFECTIVELY ENGAGE THEIR TARGET.
✔ Solution: Use the new ‘land’ button to land the flying monster near its intended target, then issue the attack order from there.
ISSUE 3: SOME PCS RUNNING WINDOWS 10 WITH INTEL 12TH GENERATION CPUS (‘ALDERLAKE’ FAMILY) MAY ENCOUNTER INCONSISTENT FRAMERATES AND/OR STUTTERING.
✔ Solution 1: Create a script file to redefine how the CPU runs the game, as follows:

1. Navigate to the game’s Scripts folder. To do this, open an Explorer Window and type the following into the address bar.

For the Steam version: %appdata%\The Creative Assembly\Warhammer3\scripts

For the Windows Store or Gamepass version: %appdata%\The Creative Assembly\Warhammer3\GDK\scripts

For the Epic Store version: %appdata%\The Creative Assembly\Warhammer3\EOS\scripts

2. Right click in the window and select New->Text Document

3. Name this document user.script (or user.script.txt if you have Windows set to show file extensions)

4. Open the user.script file and add the following lines, taking care to include all punctuation and spaces:

HYBRID_CPUS_TREAT_ALL_CORES_UNIFORMLY true;

number_of_threads 5;

5. Save the file and run the game.

Weird, I've never had a a crash unless testing mods since the patch whereas before, game was not as stable.
