Chaos Dwarfs, Goat Pastures - really?

Spend 2 turns, 1500 gold to build Goat Pastures that reduce recruitment cost of various centaur units by 5%, and at max level by 25% and upkeep by 3%. I will never build this.

yes. So in that regard it could very much be worth it later in campaign.

You'll be rich beyond imagination by the time you get any worthwhile upkeep reduction from several of these farms

I dont have access to it myself in campaign so I cant say how it is. But if what you say is just what it brings then yes its weak and I would personally not build it until maybe very late.

Like compare it to the salt resouce which I do have. It gives -5% upkeep for deathshriekers including -10% cost AND 45 barrels of salt for trading.

Seems like the pastures also needs something else. Like growth maybe which chaos dwarf doesnt have lol. So yeah something else.

Maybe a (weaker) upkeep reduction for all armies? After all, a ready supply of livestock to feed all those chorfs and hobgoblins - pretty sure they are not vegitarians.
