Not enough storage space
So i only have 150 GB available on my SSD and i quite literally cannot clear up more space. The game says it only needs 109 GB of free storage but the download itself adds an extra 67 GB of space required, so i actually need something more like 180 GB of free space. Do i just give up on ever playing this game and get a refund? That is what it is looking like unless anyone has any helpful advice.

It needs space to unpack.
I suppose you could uninstall and reinstall, that should work despite how retarded it sounds.
You will need to redownload everything tho.

I only had about 114gb clear, which is now 111gb. I guess the patch was around 3gb. Rule of thumb is to have 2x the game size clear. Worked for me,

I also have many other drives half empty, so I guess it may have used some of that space temporarily.

I appreciate the response, but every time i attempt to install it still needs that 180 GB of storage available (even though i know those 67 GB will not be present after the installation is finished) I don't have enough space to even finish the installation on my SSD.

I have other drives large enough to take on space temporarily but is it even possible that it will store that extra crap on there even though that isn't the drive i'm presently downloading it on? If so my computer is definitely not taking that into account during the installation.
If you have other drives which have the 180 gig i dont understand the problem, just install it on an other drive

Time for a new SSD then as even if you installed successfully you're gonna hit other issues of having a drive at such a full capacity. You could end up with performance issues, save game issues, others oddities related to your system config. You want to have some measure of breathing room for such large games as is.
