She's a legendary hero - you have to do a mission chain every campaign as empire or kislev to unlock her in that campaign.
If she's been activated you should see her in as a hero option in custom battles.

I did with empire, the quest asks you to build "Tall Walls" and amount x of cash.

Cheers. I've not checked in a campaign as either yet but she's unlocked on custom battles for me.

Would be nice if they had a way of seeing what Legendary heroes you have unlocked on your account tbh. Admittedly it's a very small list right now but it looks like they are gonna grow it.

Lore question! How does ulrika fair with the empire/kislev if she's a vampire? Wouldn't she be burnt at the stake for being a heretic?

Franz to Level 12-->Tall Walls in any province capital --> have 15.000 gold. Voila ! Ulrika has to be unlocked that way in any Empire/Kislev campaign. You can´t play a campaign "as" Ulrika as she is a hero, not a lord.

I think they mislabled what you actually do by calling it an "unlock". You just recruit her for the current campaign as either the Empire, or Kislev, but you do not unlock anything permanently on the account (as for example with Boris Ursus). I might be wrong though.

The unlock in this case means having access to her in custom battles and being able to do her mission chain to get her in the individual campaigns.

Yeah its a bit confusing to start but if your account is linked you can check if you have her available by going to the battles tab and battle AI. Check Empire or Kislev and you should have her unit card in the Heroes section already available.

After that you have to complete a quest to use her during any of your Empire or Kislev campaigns. Same as you with other legendary heroes such as Felix and Gotrex or Lord Kroak for Lizardmen etc. Shes not a playable lord you have to do her quest to use her each cand every campaign.

She hates vampires in lore and refuses to work with them. She's kind of like a vampire who kills other vampires

Fair enough, although I can't see how she fits with the empire either. Kislev maybe? I don't really know..

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad she's here. I'm just curious on how she's a Legendary Hero for those two factions.

Now I'd like them to demote Gotrek to a legendary hero. No way does it make sense that he leads armies, as much as he's a cool character.

I tried to unlock she with Boris but after the 2 quest i choose to recruit her but she doesn't here, is there a bug or can someone confirm me she can be recruited with boris ?

EDIT : Got it, but i've disabled my mods ( "Organic AI, Warband Upgrade Ultimate and Actually Auto Resolve All Quest Battles" ), i've also kept the structure and not use the 15k gold

If she was unlocked for your account then she should be a usable hero for kislev and empire in custom battles.
What does the main menu banner for her say?
