Do WAAAGHS ever end?!
I mean for frick sake! Wurzagh has had a WAAAGH'd double stack armies for the last 30 turns! How the hell are the dwarves supposed to do anything?!

Normally it lasts for about 20 turns if I remember correctly, although this is just time limit the caller has to capture the target city in to get the bonus effects. The extra units is really just a one time thing that applies to all armies they control at the time its triggered (with the new units being proportional to the size of each army they join). So eventually they will run out, although it does depend a lot on how many armies they had at the time and any new ones they create afterwards shouldn't have the waagh units with them.

Might be that or 15, to be honest I was going from memory as I haven't really played them much yet in WH3.
