Both of those units you mention have been significantly buffed.
You don't understand why they would need to reduce the base damage when they give them another (generally more useful) type of damage?
Do you realise that while they lost 11 base weapon damage, they gained 11 armor piercing damage?
Armor piercing damage negates armor. Base weapon damage doesn't.
It's basically a buff.
Because they add the same amount as piercing damages.
Also, ya never paid much attention but they did seem little juiced up in the dishing out damage department from few times fought against nurgle last cathay campaign, but then Cathay like emp and kislev are flimsy weak monkeigh.
So basically, you want them to receive a super buff? All these other changes are not enough? lol
They're making their damage more consistent by making it AP, but not INCREASING their max damage.
Because they would be rather overpowered all the sudden?
It does increase their max damage against anything that doesn't have 0 armor which means against 99% units of the game.
