I mean, TWW kind of already is Total War: Heroes of Might and Magic, especially the third game.

I'm wondering if they will continue the trend. WH1-3 has topped up both CA and GW's cocaine bucket for a good while. I wonder if they will agree to fan demands and do the first futuristic TW game with 40k.

Would have enough races and factions in it to prop them up for at least one more 10 year trilogy. And people would lap it up all over again.

I know there are a lot of naysayers, but I believe in the IP. Mainly due to homm 2, 3 and 4, but still... If anyone can do it, it's Creative Assembly. Ubisoft have proven again and again that they don't have the know-how to make a good homm game, we all know that, but I want to see CA take a stab at it, see if they can't manage to capture that good old homm magic.

They have different teams working on the traditional and fantastical WH franchises.

So realistically they could drop both at the same time.

I can get behind this. Would be cool if they made a duology or trilogy even, like they've done with the warhammer series. imagine a game where you can go from early medieval ages to late victorian ages. Would be interesting to play.

The main question would be "Realistically, what could a HoMM game offer that Warhammer doesn't already?"

Both are fantasy and the battles would be broken down to the same thing.

It would largely be a reskin of what we already have for Warhammer, so I feel it's unlikely. Just not enough variety. Same with a LotR one (if they ever even got the rights...)

They abandoned TK1 after a handful of DLC. I sincerely doubt they are ever touching that again.

I don’t think it will come out so soon. I think we will first get a Med 2 remaster, a saga game and after that a Major Historical Title (Which I dont think will be the new 3K game either)
