Bug: Glean Magic on Kairos Fateweaver doesn't let you select himself
Methinks this might be bugged considering it says "Self:" as an effect on it.

its casted on an enemy caster to drain their magic and give it to himself
not that you should even be trying since its a horrible spell in every possible way
only use it as the bound skill on your changers of ways units

if you like losing either 5 or overcasted 7 winds for no real benefit, you do you but its not smart
not even using the army ability to regain magic does it gain you more magic then it costs
possibly the worst spell in the game

The only use would be if you prioritized removing the enemy's winds than using yours better.
Maybe it better to prevent a wind of death than to cast another pink fire

It's useful to drain annoying enemy spellcasters of their winds, while still giving you some of it. Obviously it won't make up for the cost of the spell, but at least it's something. The problem with Kairos is while he can change the winds in a region and give you a ♥♥♥♥ ton of power to use for spells, the enemy gets that too, and it can really suck sometimes. Warp Lightning for Skaven is the most egregious offender, imo. Can spam that crap all day for cheap and it's very effective against infantry, especially when most of your army moves at turtle speed and it's easy to hit them.

whats the cooldown on the spell
how long until you casted it 10 times to not get warp lightninged
if your willing to make this faction supposedly based all around magic to not have any magic left to do it
its the worst spell in the game, not even theoretically does it become useful

You get one region, of the province, empty it, wait a whole, and go in with your stack with maxed reserves.

Maybe if its effects were buffed, like 5x. Otherwise it'd be broken on the other side of the scale.

its stupid that its not just a mapwide constant effect for fighting the god of magic
sunshine-acid Sep 18, 2022 @ 4:19am
It´s pretty useless against AI but it I think there is some utility in PvP.
Ashardalon Sep 18, 2022 @ 4:24am
what is the winds reserves in pvp?
sunshine-acid Sep 18, 2022 @ 6:04am
Really don´t know ^^ But in general I would be more afraid of a human using magic against me than the AI.
sunshine-acid Sep 18, 2022 @ 6:18am
Beside the manipulation of the reserves it gives you + 80 % recharge rate, the opponent suffers - 40 % for 23/46 seconds. If I would do that I have to pay some winds so that I got energy and the opponent doesn´t.

TWWH3 is a game, not a job. Maybe try to be a little bit more positive about the game and try to get it buffed instead of being a metawhore? I only play against the AI because I try to have fun? In a game? Strange concept to you, perhaps?

EDIT: OH IT'S ASHARDALON THE GUY WHO ALWAYS RESPONDS TO EVERYTHING I POST WITHOUT CAPITALIZING ANYTHING AND WHO APPARENTLY KNOWS EVERYTHING ABOUT EVERYTHING

Damn, come on Steam, gimme a block button.

Edit: apparently there IS a block button, time for me to block some rude trolls
