Bretonnian looter trait
So i have this on like 4 of my lords because i confederated them and they had it, left them all in cities with prayer chapel for 10+ turns and they all still have it. Is it a trait you cannot get rid of? It has the red down arrow so i thought with enough prayer it might go away. (these lords have legardary lord defeat traits that give them bonus to healing the army so i'd love to keep em)

And what's the point of removing it? AFAIR it is positive trait which increases income when sacking settlements.

Have your lords end their turns in a town with a church. Every now and then negative traits get removed.

you may not know that it also decreases your chivalry and your control and it also has the red down arrow as opposed to the positive green arrow on it. It'd be nice to have this go away but as i posted i have 4 lords with it all in towns with a church and it hasn't gone away.

For Brettonia it isn't. Sacking and raiding is heavily discouraged by their special mechanics and you get heavy penalties for having those traits.

Each lord generate something like 20+ chivalry from traits so spending some of it to upkeep good trait is OK. Public order isn't a big issue either. Sacrificing rich cities is the main way of boosting economy for Bretonnia because you get very few money from battles and there are no caravans to attack, at least for Repanse.

Sacking for Bretonnia is very good. Raiding is bad for all factions without special raiding stance. There is no other ways to spend extra chivalry so you should sack and ransom captives as much as possible.

All i am asking is if anyone has been able to get rid of it, i don't need or want to hear about work arounds, i just want to know if i am wasting my time keeping my lords in the settlement.

Don't think you can get rid of it atm without using a trait mod.

In WH2 you could definitely remove them. Haven't played them in 3, but if it's not possible now, that should be a bug from game 3 that should be reported in the appropriated sub forum.
