buying a lvl50 hero with all the good perks at turn 5
just powergaming to beat the braindead ai even harder
what? you expected any warhammer or roleplay, any immersion at all in this game?
Ok, sure, but it's strange to have a function that is solely for cheezing.
I recently made heavy use of it to save several lvl 1 Ogre Tyrants and Hunters so that in the future for any Ogre campaign I can if I want to, have 8 armies of nothing but unbreakable Gnoblars as each character has the Gnoblarkicker Big Name which is super RNG to get.
You could also for example use it as High Elves to make sure that you can get an Incendiary Lore of Fire Mage or Archmage in your future campaigns or use it for Kislev's Frost Maidens and Ice Witches if they have traits you find desirable.
thats something many people want because they need all the help vs the toddler lvl ai
this game isnt made for fans of challenge or warhammer
1&2 never had this feature.
Great, now he's got to alter the timeline to avoid this little slip up from happening again.
Goes to show that I don't use it. Wouldn't recognise it if it disappeared! Like me.... *poof*
Was this really an event in time, or a slip in space-time? Find out next time!
How about you lose the attitude and let people play how they want?
There's also the factor that you might want specific names for Ogre's. It's random each time you recruit one. You might want to save that one that gives 20% Leadbelcher damage.
Or a Dark Elf one so you don't risk your hard earned exp being wasted on a random lord name.
Same with the new randomized chaos boons.
Some people just like certainty over random.
Beats savescumming.
And no, it's not about just good perks.
I for one love using 2 melee heroes in my legendary lord armies, as a sort of goonsquad. I cannot stand if they have different traits. They can have the most useless trait, don't care. As long as they are the same.
I'm weird like that.
But on the other hand i'm not gonna claim its not potentially overpowered as heck, some races (the ones with better heroes/lords) being able to bring in borderline godlike super heroes that can take on entire armies alone early game (Yea its gonna cost you, but you can amass the money rather easily).
