Fun fact: A range of Snakemen miniatures were released in the mid 1980's, during the 3rd Edition of Warhammer. However, they never received any rules or official background. They were not mentioned again in the lore until the 6th Edition, almost 20 years later.

That's the faction I want.
Little to no lore and representation, but anything is possible now, I would not discard the possibility.
The proximity with Cathay could be interesting.

Someone DM that dude who makes Skink pic in community. If don't know what I'm talking about go scroll through feed on game's main page, you'll see it eventually. Oh if wonder why one just coffee mug blurred out? Ya zoom in on Skink again you'll see it eventually...all I have say about that.

They could also provide an excuse for lizardmen to be around there, since lorewise they have some connection. Which would provide welcome diversity in ennemies.

Yes I've thought of this, maybe this will just be a Lizard-Men new location.

Would be pretty interesting to see since the snake men's capital is the lost city of the lizard men

As in gives them motivation to reclaim it

Yeah, I imagine a map with the new race and maybe lizardmen subfaction controlling some settlements, during a race pack.
