It doesn't look like you played TWWH1 / TWWH2 before, so you may need to learn more about how to play factions and tricks.
Or you could just stick to Imrik if you're really into him and learn the "hard" way stuffs.
Regardless, good luck.
For me it worked up to turn 10/12 by immediately invading the Chorfs before they do the same on turns 6-8, then turning to Tretch.. but that was a nightmare as he had 4 armies tunneling all around vs my 2 that couldn't be everywhere at once, so they devastated my provinces
Luckily I got the Caledor confed to make me money, eventually by selling it to Tyrion!
Took me 20 turns to get rid of the Skaven pest, then I was able to consolidate and it was rather smooth thereafter, allied with the Dawi to get rid of Skarsnik and Queek, which secured my western border, then went fighting East and back southwest vs Skarbrand
Long Victory on turn 92
Used staple HE armies, Archers/Spearmen then LS plus some SoA, and the Dragons as they came every 15 turns, Dragon Princes late game, not much else except an arty piece (usually an allied one !) per army, I feel other HE infantry and cav not very good and real squishy
And was surprised as how much of a beast Imrik became quite fast, he's a doomstack by himself at level 20some, unkillable
step 1) kill the minor dwarf faction you start at war with. And take their stuff. towns. One of the minor towns has a landmark that gives you early access to Dragon Princes, which normally take a tier 5 main settlement. Get a few of those in your army somewhere.
step 2) kill Tretch Craventail. And take his stuff.
step 3) kill the nearby bad peoples (like the chaos dwarf LL). And take their stuff.
for the first Dragon encounter, I typically pay it money for Influence so i can then use it when the Caledor confed dilemma pops. second and beyond I am ok with fighting. You don't have to fight them immediately. The Quest Battle will wait in your quest log. I typically am ready to go when I have a tier 3 town and a few White Lions of Chrace... plus Imrik on his dragon and the sun dragon you start with.
I'm not shaming your time but that's really not alot of time to know the in's and outs of every race and faction vs other races for this game especially for a hard start like Imrik
Or continue to post on here and get random advice from strangers who have zero idea how good you are at the game.
Imrik is widely known to be hard by the playerbase, though. Not the hardest - that would probably be someone like Skarsnik - but on the harder end of things.
Dragon order is randomized, my good sir.
If it's fixed, I may try his campaign again and give you some tips.
Easiest campaign I played was probably Belakor, collecting Chaos warrior legendary lords.
