Tomb kings
So i was playing already few games till the end on max difficulty with few factions and now im trying VERY hard with tomb kings, i tried setra, black guy and poison lady and it's only me or almost all units are very weak? I need like 2/3armies to finish just 1full army and it's impossible to fight in few places at once becouse of that and all of this lords get war declaration from 2 or even 3 factions at once i feel like tomb kings are most hard and also trash faction in wh3.

Can't really agree with that.
Empire got vastly superior ranged inf and in terms of melee inf, they are quiet on par.
Tomb guard (both) is badly outmatched by chosen, but somewhat close to CWs.
They are decent shielded inf, but light armored with average stats.

Also, i wouldn't consider Arkhan one of the easiest campaigns.
I think tomb kings have fallen off a bit since WH2.
Their big strong thing used to be free recruitment, but have unit/army caps. but they could get a 20 stack army super quickly, then you'd fill it out with some non-skelly units, then you'd get a second army slot, and immediately fill it too, then run around the early game 40v<20ing everything.

The issue is lots of other races can now fund full armies much quicker now, and so the race mechanic instead of being a benefit, you end up just having a chaff army, and a hard time getting more for a while.

Maybe can probably get 2 chaff armies up and running before you can. Late game, with supply lines being much less of an issue, other races can field a lot more armies than you can too.

I haven't played them a tonne, so I might be misreading the problem, but that's what I understand the problem to be. Everything else has power creeped passed them. They probably just need an easier time getting some army cap to fix the problem though.

problem is even if you can have like 2/3armies very quickly and more quickly with black guy you still can fill it only with skeletons that are just useless. And 1 empire, khorne or thzeench army can just destroy your 2armies or sometimes even 3 armies at once. I tried multiple times with diffrent units and for real, they are just bad and it does not matter if they are free and fast to fill up becouse enemies can just heal or get units even faster than you on high difficulty. Almost every units is just weaker version of their units, weaker cavalery, weaker monster/constructs and weaker infantry/ranged infantry. Best units are monsters/contructs but still much weaker than many other big units around desert. Also later you can't even have as much lords as other races around so you have weaker units and less lords than everyone around. I feel like tomb kings are right now like top 3 or maybe even top 1 worst factions in game.

HAhaha
finally finished campaing and get achievement for hardest difficulty tomb kings, right now my top 1 most annoying faction in whole game, maybe later i found even worse one
They are challenging and a bit dated for sure. I've found that keeping one lord in your capital with a few heroes with the wise trait acting as a recruiter works best. Everytime you unlock another lord slot, use the rite of awakening and send him off with increased levels and whatever your best units are at the time all at rank 9 and this will offset how bad TK troops are in general (they are 0 upkeep so they must be weaker as a matter of balance). Also you shouldn't be using any skeleton warriors or spearman or horsemen at all unless it's an emergency.

Step 1: Recruit all skelelelton spearmen.

Step 2: Do rite to get Indiana Bones and the Casket of Screamin Souls.

Step 3: Recruit skekelelelton archers to limit.

Step 4: Win every single battle easily vs 2-3 armies at once by corner camping.

Be imperishable, or perish.

I would add 2-4 chariots in the early game. They are real life savers assuming you use them and not just right lick and forget.

Nah.

You need those 4 for holding the line. When you fight 2-3 armies at once, they WILL come to you and your arty piece. No need for poking.

Imo the 0 upkeep of TK isn't and shouldn't affect their stats much.
Its mostly offset by having low income and needing buildings to increase their unitcaps. Also their army ability (reg and summon ushabti) takes a toll on stats.

Chariots as line holders?
Glassen speed bumps?

Maybe as emergency high mass blocker units.

I meant the 4 slots for more spearmen.

Does archer skellies have enough ammo to get rid of 2-3 armies thought ?
I suppose it would be more feasible with Khalida as her faction buff ammo isn't it ?

I didn't play much TK also, just completed an Arkhan run using lots of his buffed up vampiric units, his hexwraiths are absolutly devastating for instance.
Settra's Chariots is one of the earliest OP units in the game.
His tomb guards become insanely OP statwise too.

TK is the most balanced faction that I've played, though the weakest as well.
They've only one weakness, but it's a major one. The army limit.

We gotta wait 14 turns until we can raise a second army, and then 10+ turns for the 3rd and so on. (you can get 2 at same time with mortuary cult ritual + tech, which makes them less terrible)

Meanwhile by turn 15 as VC I'd have over 10 armies.
2 armies by turn 15 is REALLY terrible. As result I can't expand as usual, I lack offensive power, and mostly importantly I can't leave my kingdom borders open to be invaded, otherwise will trigger more and more wars, while I wait for more armies cap.

So their early game is the worst of all factions bar none.
They become decent at late game, but still the weakest.

Funny thing, as I've said, they're the most balanced and well rounded faction that I"ve played. Problem is, everything else isn't balanced, but OP.
