Update?
Did anyone else get a 322.1 MB update? I don't see patch notes for it in the news.

Absolutely love that they're consistent with getting stuff fixed now. Keep it up CA!

Fixed a bug where players couldn't undo spent skill points for heroes.
thank god, this was annoying as hell.

Fixed an issue where High Elf towers and some of the walls behind them would disappear after being destroyed in siege battles, while still functioning as intact barriers. Towers now leave rubble behind, and walls remain visible post-destruction.
DEV NOTE: We are aware of ongoing related issues with other High Elves siege map destruction and are continuing to investigate.
wow this only took them 2 years to fix. i have noticed this since immortal empire launched in 2022 and reported this back then. finally they do something about this.

Eh, another hotfix. I'm glad they are supporting the game, really, I am, but I wish we got some more information on the next BIG patch, since the "what's next" was so long ago and they had barely anything built at that time.

In the past months they started fixing a lot of visual issues that plagued the game since launch, including minecraft corruption, floating assets, tree acne and other stuff.

It is clear they have a bigger team dedicated to patches now, which is great

futa patch dlc?
LethalOwl Sep 10, 2024 @ 3:43am
No idea how big this 'update' was, but it forced the game to go through 65+ gigs worth of 'patching'. Like holy crap, that's like downloading the game all over again.

I agree, its great, but I wish they would have done this 2 years ago. The Game would have been by now in a much better State. Still great that they throw patches now out more frequently.

Psst... our next WH3 dev chat video drops later today - keep your eyes peeled!

It;s mostly bug-fixes. Nice and welcomed, but patching whole game is rough.

Its caused by how the games architecture is setup combined with how Steam patches games.

It basically has to copy large archive files, unpack them, add the changes, and repack them, then remove the copy once Steam has decided everything is alright.

Hopefully no one forgets how CA basically abandoned this franchise and used it as a money pig for their failed copycat bandwagon live service game. The fact that there were people who ardently defended CA and the game itself when they were both in their worst states and tried to gaslight everyone else into thinking the game worked fine is still fresh in my memory. I'm glad they're finally doing it but I know that they're only doing this because they HAVE to and not because they WANT to.
